Yay! My new articles are up!
I’m thrilled to be selected to write for Deep South Moms, one of my must-read and most favorite collaborative blogs! My first story was brought on by a recent trip to my hometown that triggered serious flashbacks. Go read, comment, and be impressed that I actually shared a real photo of myself from all those years ago! (It’s too far away to see the blue eye shadow and bad perm, so it was safe!)
And, my other writing venture is near and dear to my heart and also one that I’ve followed a lot lately. Diabetes Daily. Go read about my experiences with the Thanksgiving stuffing and Type II diabetes! Comments are appreciated!

In some ways, I'm a walking cliche--a suburban mommy blogger of two kids just trying to keep my crazy yet wonderful life in balance. But, I'm also a career writer who has just returned to fulltime work in the software industry, I'm a wife going through a divorce after almost 20 years of marriage, and I'm discovering that life is full of surprises. But, mostly I am learning to look at the world through funny glasses with my tongue sticking out. Pfffftttt!
