I’ve fallen and I can’t get up…

That title could apply to many areas of my life right now–be it dieting, fitness, organization or blog posting. I’ve had a heck of a time re-integrating my blog writing back into my daily life. OK, I haven’t really done that at all yet.

So, my big question out there that I hope won’t sit here for weeks on end but I DO hope will find its way to those bloggers I know who are still cranking out the posts–how do you DO it? How do you keep on blogging and not burn out? How do you balance Facebook, Twitter, work, motherhood and finding the time to write and keep it interesting?

I recently even bought a book with ideas for my blog–it’s gotten that bad. Actually, I was pretty disappointed in the book. It outlined things I have already done or already know.

So, I’m stuck. I need to just spit things out on here, but I find myself over-critiquing things now. This won’t be interesting. That won’t get people back to my blog. And, all the while my blog is sinking…sinking…and having trouble coming up for air. I refuse to let it go all the way under though. Why is that?

I know tons of bloggers who have walked away from it. Some cropped up later to start new blogs. Others, I haven’t a clue what happened to them. I just know that I don’t want to become a casualty.

If you read this and you regularly write a blog and have for many years, I’d love to hear what you do to keep it going. How do you keep that blogging mojo?

And, while we’re at it, how do you survive the summer chaos AND still make it to the gym and not gain weight? Oh, wait…hold that! That’s for a different blog post altogether. (grin)

  1. Hey! If you are in Houston, then we should have Wendy get us together!

  2. I am, and we should! I’ll talk to her about us going to lunch sometime. She was telling me about your scrap room–sounds awesome! I’m going to convince her to be a scrapper soon, I just know it.

  3. Great blog! Glad to know I’m not the only one having issues juggling all the different social media sites. It’s killing a lot of blogs these days!
